GENERAL QUESTIONS/ANSWERS

Q: "I've never had a reading...Is it okay that I am new to this?  Is it scary?"

A: Bob is pleased to read for anyone, from regular Spiritualist believers to people who have never even considered the reality of psychic phenomena.  And No--a reading with Bob is never scary. Bob often says, "A reading should never be scary, but be entertaining, intriguing, enlightening, and uplifting."

Q: "Do I need to provide my birthdate or bring an object to the reading?"

A: No--Bob does not need, or use, any tools to do his readings.  He connects with his Spirit Guides in the reading, as well as employing his natural intuitive abilities of clairvoyance (clear seeing), clairaudience (clear hearing), and clairsentience (clear feeling).

Q: "What is a 'Medium' ?"

A:  A Medium is a person who is sensitive to the vibrations of presences and dimensions beyond the standard 5 senses.  A Medium is an Intuitve who can connect with loved ones, guides, teachers, and spiritual beings on the Other Side, commonly called the 'Spirit World'.

Q:  "Does Bob read Tarot cards?"

A:  No. He communicates with the Spirit World to obtain information for you.

Q: "I have a missing family member and the Police are at a loss as to any leads in the investigation...Is Bob available to help locate them?"

Q: "What do I need to do to prepare for a reading with Bob?"

A: It is advised that you prepare a list of questions/topics you would like to explore in the reading--before the reading.  Such preparation ensures that you get to cover what you are most interested in, and makes for a better reading.

Q: "I don't live in the Washington DC, metro area...Can Bob read for me by phone?"

Q: "My boyfriend and I want to get married--problem is--we have different faith traditions--and neither's Church will perform the wedding...Can Bob do our wedding?"

A:  Yes.  Bob is a legally ordained and state-licensed Minister.  He is currently able to perform weddings in Virginia and Maryland. Contact him at the CONTACT US page.

Q: "I love to read about Edgar Cayce...According to my research, he was a trance medium...Can Bob do a reading like Edgar Cayce used to do?"

A: Yes.  Bob is an experienced trance channel, which means that he can go into a trance where puts aside his normal conciousness to allow higher entities to briefly use his body to communicate messages from the Spirit World.

An Honor Bestowed

On June 22, 2008, at a Divine Liturgy, of the Essene Orthodox Church, Rev. Bob Hickman was honored with a Title of Nobility by His Beatitude, The Catholicos Mar Frederick of the Essene Orthodox Church for services rendered to the Church.  The Bishop honored Bob with a Dukedom.  As per Letters Patent, issued by the Bishop, Bob shall now be styled as:

The Duke of Cherson.

There is a long-standing traditon of Bishops and Patriarchs in the Eastern Church granting titles of honor for services rendered to the Church. 

The title derives from the times of the ancient Byzantine Empire when the Church held temporal control over various territories.  Though the Church no longer holds temporal control, the ancient territories are still recognized within the Holy See of the Church.

Spiritualist History...

A Spirit Trumpet is used in Seances to enhance the voices of the Spirits.  There are many photos and records of these trumpets levitating and voices coming from them.

Above:  Jack Webber was a famous spirit trumpet Medium in the 1930s. This picture shows him levitating trumpets with ectoplasmic rods that come from his body. Ectoplasm is a substance that many mediums emit, and it can be used by the Spirit World to generate phenomena.

Sir Daryl Radio Show Guest!!

Bob was a guest on the Sir Darryl Radio Experience show on Wednesday, October 8, 2008, at 11:00 AM Eastern U.S. time. 

The Sir Darryl show is the top rated radio program on the net, and is often home to celebrity appearances.  Bob was on the show to discuss his new  Radio program , "Messages from the Spirit World" on All Digital Radio Networks and interviewed by Sir Darryl. He also answered psychic questions for call in listeners as well.

Chillin' with Cree Radio Show  

On Tuesday March 11, 2008, Bob began the first of his regular appearances on the Chillin' with Cree Radio Show.

Platform Readings 

Bob recently appeared at Esoterica in Leesburg, VA where he particpated in a public demonstration of Platform Mediumship with the resident medium of Esoterica, the Rev. Kevin Baird.

UPCOMING TRANCE CHANNELING!!!

Back by popular demand, come out the fourth Saturday, of each month to see Bob as he trance channels his spirit guides. The gathering will begin at 8:00pm and go until 9:30pm.  A break will be included in the evening. [Bob's next Trance Channeling will be Saturday April 25, 2009]...Part of the evening will be interactive. In the Trance Channeling, Bob will enter a trance state that allows his Spirit Guides to come through to use his body to directly speak to you.  This type of reading is one of interaction where you communicate directly with the Spirit Guides, as Bob will be unconscious.  Bob's Trance Channeling work is similar to the "great sleeping prophet", Edgar Cayce, or the more modern Medium, JZ Knight, who channels Ramtha.  The guides you may meet in this event may include Fletcher (Bob's principal guide), Rose (a British lady who died during World War II), and Orion (An entity who has never incarnated but speaks from the perspective of the Other Side).  Other guides may come in during the reading than those listed here as Fletcher allows. VICTORIAN SEANCE

Thank you to all who came out to the Victorian Seance. By all accounts it was a most wonderful and mystical evening.  There were several manifestations of Spirit that night, from temperature changes, to victorian music that came thru a radio, to  channeled visits from Bob's guides Fletcher, Rose, Orion--and a visit from Edgar Cayce!! The highlight of the evening was when we received messages written on the Slates from those in the Spirit World!! A picture is below of what we recieved at the 8:00 pm session.  We hope to have another Seance in a few months, check back for further details.
